We condemn the car bomb attack which was perpetrated yesterday (21st September) in Somalia against the compound housing the presidential palace, prime minister’s office and ministries and during the departure of a convoy carrying the diplomats of the United Nations and according to initial reports, resulted in death of fourteen and injury of twenty four people.

We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their relatives and wish a speedy recovery for the injured.

Turkey will resolutely maintain every support to the brotherly and friendly people of Somalia to achieve peace and stability.
